Accommodations were fantastic, we loved drinking wine in the jacuzzi at night, the breakfast was delicious and enormous... but best of all was our host. She made us feel very much at home, was always there when we needed but also knew when to give us privacy. Also really LOVED the fact that she had bicycles for us to use; that made getting to Monet's house super fun. We had wanted to cycle to Giverny and I had assumed -- incorrectly -- that there would be lots of places renting bikes. So we really appreciated that she had those on hand to lend us, and at no extra charge!

Free parking, wonderful house, very comfortable bedroom which has really been thought through, you have everything, kettle, fridge, bathrobes, slippers, plenty of sockets, amazing bathroom, hangers, TV, hairdryer, toiletries etc The host Florence is fantastic, very warm and friendly, a wonderful breakfast is served, bread, homemade jam, pastries, cheese, ham, delicious coffee, cereals etc. The house is stunning and Florence has created a wonderful and comfortable stay. If we are ever calling through this area again I would not hesitate to stay here

Everything was set out perfectly in the bedroom and the bathroom and both rooms were spotless. The very generous breakfast was set out at the time requested, even with freshly squeezed orange juice! Faultless!

Come make a stop and enjoy a house of character at the gates of Normandy. Florence and Jean-Marc welcome you in their guest house ‘Les Couleurs du temps - près Giverny’ in Limetz Villez, on the impressionists route. We are ideally located, 5 km from Claude Monet's famous garden and museum in Giverny, 8 km from Roche Guyon and its medieval keep, 10 km from Vernon and its church “La Collegiale” and the Bizy Castle. The first floor is reserved for you with two bedrooms (including one suite) with unobstructed views over the garden, a mezzanine dedicated to breakfasts with its small balcony, a games room equipped with TV, billiards, chess, darts, books and comics. Bicycles are available to visit the countryside. And after a good day of discovery, an outdoor jacuzzi awaits you to relax on the terrace with the birds singing. For the evening many restaurants are nearby. We can make the reservation for you on request
After working 30 years in an office in Paris, I wanted to try a new experience, give a touch of color and another meaning to my life. Staying at home in the countryside and welcoming lovers of nature, painting, or simply the desire to please / welcome naturally led me to offer guest rooms. I chose to settle with my family on the road of the Impressionists near Giverny and its fabulous gardens. Contemplating the flowers and smelling their fragrances, listening to the birds song, enjoying the surrounding calm is for me a real pleasure that I want to share with my guests.
