Just a few steps away from the entrance to the Gare du Nord station with direct connections to and from CDG airport and historic places in Paris. No elevator but we were only one flight up. Our room slept four of us comfortably and even though it faces the busy street the windows closed kept the room very quiet. The hotel is very old and could use a face lift but all we really required was a clean bed and safe place to sleep and access to transportation. We got it. Some great cafes on the main street.

The owners were very friendly and helpful and offered suggestions and directions. It was also very close to Gard du Nord, had two transit stops, including Big Red Bus, right outside their door and it is close to a wide variety of restaurants. The price was also reasonable given their proximity to a main train station. Gard du L'Est train station was also within walking distance from the hotel (5-10 minutes).

The room was dark and dingy. There was a horrible smell in the room. The whole hotel was in need of major renovations. For the money paid it should have been a lot better.
There was nothing to like. This hotel should be rated much less than it is on your site.

Stairs are a struggle with large suitcases but fortunately it’s just one floor to the room.
Only a few metres to Gare du Nord station which is surrounded by chic Parisienne bars and restaurants. A vibrant hub by day and quiet by night for a good sleep. The property was simple old style and family owned. Sophie the owner/manager was gracious and accommodating. This is perfect for the train connection at Gare du Nord and at 75 Euros a night you can’t really find cheaper.

The room I stayed was quite old. The wall and floor are thin, so I heard lots of noise from upstairs. Also, every time the metro runs, I heard that sound in my hotel room.
The location and hotel staff are very good points of this hotel. The room was cleaned every day.

Poor wifi connection on the 3rd floor Assistance from the reception could be tricky after 10pm (the grandmother of the family was once alone after 11pm)

Wifi is awful. Almost no connection.
The location was great just in front of the railway station, from where you can reach to every part of Paris easily. Nice and clean hotel. Tasty breakfast.

We had our 1 year old and the stairs were a bit tricky to get up with a pushchair so we had to leave it downstairs.
The room was really nice, spacious and clean and staff were friendly.

Narrow stairs, difficult with bags. Big step up into shower (good shower).
