Even people who don’t like camping will love this place. The tents are clean, spacious and cute, the facilities are also clean, they serve good breakfast and the animals ate simply the best. An unforgettable stay, wholeheartedly recommended!

It’s the second time I’ve been to Vias for a short break. The weather can be hit & miss but if you get sunshine it’s a lovely small beach resort to stay, with plenty of restaurants, small shops/boutiques, ice cream parlours & fruit & veg stalls to wander through. The beach is a couple of miles walk from Vias town centre. L’Amandine restaurant in the town square is a very nice place to eat.

Small resort aimed at ordinary French people - one main street with a decent range of restaurants. Nothing flashy but all seemed good value. Very easy to get to from Beziers airport. There's a medium-sized (I think - not really my thing) funfair/ theme park on the outskirts (Europark). The promenade has recently been improved but, like the town, is quite small.
I'm not sure that there's much in the way of day trips, though we didnt look too hard. I've heard that Sete is nice but dont know how close it is.

Lovely little hotel on the outskirts of the town, Hotel Mucrina. The swimming pool looked very inviting, but the weather was a little too cool for that! We ate lunch in L’Amandine in the town square, a restaurant we return to year after year. It is friendly and welcoming, the food is excellent, as is the rosé wine. After a big lunch, dinner was low key and Pizza Freddo was a perfect choice. Unassuming from the outside, it was quite pretty on the inside and the pizzas were very good too. At the time of our visit (Easter 2019) the road to Vias Plage was undergoing road works, but hopefully that will be finished soon, allowing access to the beach once again.
Lovely little campsite near Vias plage , less than 10 mins walk from the beach.
Campsite is lovely and clean.
Think my only issue would have been was one evening we were desperately in need of some paracetamol and I went to the bar to ask if they could tell where we maybe able to get some at 10pm and the woman serving was a little rude and said « do we look like a pharmacy ! » I was asking for help and it wasn’t the most helpful reply .
Every other member of staff on site were lovely and polite .
Mobil home is on the edge of the camping ground, furthest distance from the sea, quite close to the street.
Yet we did not hear anything from the street and the path to the sea is really not that bad.
We were there off season (beginning of october), so Vias Plage is dead. Shops are closed, only 2-3 Shops (one of which was a bakery) was open. Yet it really was enjoyable.
Most people around were french, so not many pesky tourists. ;)
The pool was enjoyable, too. Friendly staff everywhere.
Great location, just a short walk to the old town of Vias. Vias Plage is a 35 minute walk, or 5 minutes on the bus. Our teenage boys used the free mountain bikes to bike between the beach and complex. The gite had everything we needed for our stay, great air conditioning too, as it was quiet hot when we were there. We loved the easy access to the pool, it was never too busy, and there were always lots of sun beds available. The small complex has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, a great find.
Hotel Myriam is the perfect location for beach lovers and right on the strip. The staff are super nice and friendly and so helpful. It's as described, simple basic accommodation and clean. We were there end of season, (end of September) so majority of shops and restaurants were closed but it was perfect for what we wanted, sun and relaxation. If you want a more lively atmosphere, August and beginning of September would be the best time. Thank you to all the staff for their helpfulness.
Friendly and cheerful welcome and early as we were cycling in hot weather.
The best breakfast we've ever had in France
A beautiful building beautifully decorated.
Large room, quality bed and bedding. And aircon.
Lovely Balinese style front garden.
Vias is a lovely unspoilt old town with two super restaurants and plenty of bars for a drink first.
Great location, short walk into Vias Plage with plenty of restaurants and bars. The beach is 10 minutes walk. The village is well maintained, accommodation is clean, staff were very helpful. Plenty for children of all ages to do, the evening entertainment was also good!
This lovely hotel is just yards from the beach and Main Street. The rooms are small, but perfect for a small family. We had friends staying in the Eurocamp next door, so this was a great base for us. Breakfast was great and the pool is very good. Very clean.
The property is exceptionally big & very clean. It has all mod-cons. Would highly recommend property. Very close to the square in Vias. The host Eva was very helpful also.
Patrick was very friendly and welcoming always there to help with anything, the accommodation was just of the beach literally a 2 minuit walk, Vias plage very nice place.
