Built by the architect Laurent Lavagna, the 17th century Basilica of Saint-Michel-Archange is a historic Baroque-style church with an imposing belltower. Home to the Jean Cocteau Museum, the 17th century Bastion was once a defensive fort. Today, this museum hosts a great collection of ceramics and a unique mosaic.

We went there for the "FETE DU CITRON" with the children (8 and 3 yrs old) and it was super. The events were very nice; just a suggestion for the parades: book in advance the seats.
The old city is very nice for walks.
Lots of playgrounds for children .

We loved Menton! It is a great walking town.
We loved Menton! It is a great walking town. Beautiful views, wonderful foods. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed everything. We drove to Italy for lunch. It was so easy to navigate. Drivers are more patient than in the U.S., and it was so nice to drive without stress. The service was great at every restaurant and shop we visited. We had a view of the mediterranian sea from our balcony at the Vacances Blue Royal Westminster. They were great. We want to move to Menton!!

A small quaint town by the sea.
A small quaint town by the sea. It was good that I visited in November end which is probably peak off season. I can imagine that during season it can get quite crowded which will then not be as nice. The weather was excellent. being off season, the majority of the restaurants were closed. The restaurants all seem to be quite pricey though.

Menton is a very charming and beautiful city, very walkable with much to see and do. From museums, shops, restaurants and food emporiums promoting local products. I would recommend it for a visit and it's close proximity to Italy just across the border is also a plus.

Market hall, good food at place aux herbes, reasonable prices, cocteau museum unfortunately closed, Cimetiere de vieux chateau: phantastic sculptures, breathtaking view over Menton. Menton is my favourite city of cote d'azur!
We loved this wee hotel on the water! Lovely walks either direction. Our balcony had a palm tree right outside. Small beds but comfortable. Could not hear traffic below when sleeping. Breakfast was lovely. I’m gonna miss those croissants 🙁
We also had dinner and drinks often which was nice instead of going back into town. The lemon festival was fun if you come in February !!!
All the staff were really nice too 👍👍
Very clean
But the bed was broken and for €80 euro a night I expected more
Thé fold away bed would be ok for a couple of nights but when you are working 10 hrs a day you need a comfortable bed and this just didn’t cut it
The hotel down the road was only €65
But Very close to the train station so convenient & that’s why it was chosen
Menton is lovely & I wish I’d had more time
The hotel was lovely and very cozy. I travel to Menton off season frequently, and stay in different hotels every time. Many of the hotels feel like they are very much geared to the summer season and don't have a lot of warmth to them (linoleum floors etc). Hotel de Londres had a nice cozy feel to it, which I appreciated in early March!
The hotel is everything you would expect from 3 stras hotel in France. The room was spacious and clean and the service was good. Staff and the cleaning lady were very friendly and helpful! The bed was good, not too soft, not too hard. Perfect location, three minutes from the beach, close to shoppings and restaurants.
Booked the hotel specifically to get a sea view room with balcony, which is just what we got. A larger balcony than expected with views to Old Menton on one side and over to Italy on the other. It did overlook a busy road and a public leisure area (as expected ). The room was spacious and very nicely presented.
Location was incredible with quick access to restaurants, beach, and train station. Flat was super clean, well lit, comfortable to stay a few days. Couldn't have asked for anything better during my stay in Menton. I would definitely stay again next time I visit Menton.
Beautiful apartment, very clean, newly renovated, wonderful view over sea and old town, large terrace, comfortable beds, pool, AC and well equipped kitchen.
Perfect situated in Garavan for bike rides in the mountains in Italy and France. Friendly hosts :)
Exemplary for a budget hotel. Staff excellent, location perfect, cleanliness was pristine and breakfast plentiful. Overall an example to other budget hotels. We will definitely book again.
Special menton to Mike and Salome on reception. Lovely people ❤️
We loved this apartment - it's new, in great condition, with a new kitchen and centrally located. The hosts are very helpful. Menton is a lovely place to visit at any time of year with lots of activities and easy access to France and Italy.
This is a gorgeous property and perfect location in the lovely city of Menton! My sister and I especially enjoyed sitting on the terrace for morning coffee and late night wine. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating.
Good and clean hotel, nice sea view, friendly staff. Beach nearby and down-town Menton at walking distance. Upper floor / roof top has the spa with small pool, all looked nice and clean. (unfortunately had no time to enjoy)
The staff was so nice, really welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in a great location, close to the beach and the town. Finally, the room was comfortable for us. I would stay here again and recommend it to my friends.
the staff were so friendly, very clean, older interior but when I travel I always want the authentic style of the country. It was typical France and had a great location. We will come back.
Hotel Genesis was very relaxing and close to the beach if you prefer an ocean swim. 10minute walk to restaurants and shoes. Great breakfast selection. Lovely stay in Menton
The hotel is located in the center of Menton, close to the old town. The garden at the entrance is spectacular and the smell of oranges makes this place unforgettable.
The property is old but right in the city center next to the beaches and the restaurants.. They have ample parking place in the hotel and the rooms were quite big.
Beautiful views from hotel. Can see and hear the waves. Lovely outdoor seating areas. Very central location in the town. Very helpful and friendly staff.
