We loved everything. From the moment we arrived, we were given a warm welcome, a cold beer and a tour of the gorgeous property. We rushed a little as we arrived early evening and wanted to ensure we were able to reserve somewhere for dinner. We were promptly given a list of recommendations in the area. The room was as advertised and, although I thought it might be a bit small and we might prefer a bigger room if one became available, there was no need for concern. It was super comfortable, we had a great sleep and the shower was amazing! Breakfast was also prepared with love and care, and there was great conversation with our host everyday too. We were only staying for a couple of days but found this to be an ideal base. We were very sad to leave!

Awesome host, Chrystel was always extremely friendly and approachable. Just speak up when you have a question or wish, and she will help. The rooms are very cosy and a nice mixture of modern (bathrooms) and antiques. The breakfast is extraordinary, fresh fruits and cheese and Marmeladen from the island, self made yoghurt, freshly made orange juice and every day something special new, like crepes or French cake. Le Bois is located in the middle of the island, which makes it a great starting point for cycling tours to La Flotte, Saint Martin or the lighthouse. Also, the best beaches are closeby and there is a great market every day from 9 to 1pm. Highly recommended! BR, Anna and Markus

Really everything! Beautiful room with stand alone bath, lovely communal outdoor courtyard, location in town, great home made breakfast with local produce, access to and use of kitchen and best, the wonderful hostess. A real home from home - well obviously, a very stylish and well equipped one!! You can hire bikes locally and then ride to all the beautiful beaches, fabulous daily market and locations.

We spend ten wonderful days at Face au Soleil in August with our son. The place is in walking distance to the city centre with restaurants and a daily market. 5 minutes by bike to the beach. The appartments have a great mixture of relaxed stylish funiture and art. Very nice breakfast with fresh orange juice and sometimes crepes (which our son loved ;-) in the patio. Chrystel is a great host and a very lovely and relaxed person. We will come back :-)

very well placed in the heart of Bois Plage. The owner is extremely welcoming and helpful. We were in the suite on the 1st floor. the stairs were fairly steep but manageable. The suite is very comfortable and has its own bedroom, lounge and bathroom. The breakfast is healthy and generous. we really enjoyed our stay and would be more than happy to stay there again.

Chrystal runs the most wonderful B&B. This is a fantastic find. The house itself, the rooms, the general vibe of the place is just perfect. Breakfast is a thoughtful feast. Chrystal herself is everything you'd want in a host, she anticipates needs and steps in when you need some help and information. Cannot recommend Face au Soleil highly enough. It's a sweet treasure on an island full of charm.
