Le gîte Florida est baptisé ainsi en souvenir de sa dernière occupante. C'est une maison familiale dont nous n'avons pu nous résoudre à nous séparer. Nous la faisons ainsi revivre tout en nouant des contacts avec des visiteurs de tous pays.
Madeleine et moi avons toujours intégré des associations locales. C'est ainsi que Madeleine a pu faire bénéficier de jeunes scolaires de ses talents de cuisinière, elle a pratiqué l'encadrement, la poterie, la peinture et exerce maintenant ses talents dans le domaine de la couture. Elles est spécialisée dans les costumes historiques et donne des cours à des adultes désireux de se perfectionner. Pour mon compte, je suis clarinettiste et membre de deux associations musicales. Et à nous deux nous prenons soin du Gîte qui vous hébergera s'il vous convient.
Coulommiers, est à 10 minutes de notre gite. le Parc des capucins abondamment fleuri et soigneusement entretenu , est considéré comme l'un des plus beaux d Ile de France Retrouvez route l'histoire de la cité briarde ainsi que de nombreuses manifestations dans la magnifique chapelle du château de la Duchesse de Longueville La Commanderie des Templiers vous fera découvrir 800 ans de la vie de ce bâtiment.Il se dit que c'est un des mieux conservé en France. Ne pas oublier que Coulommiers est la ville du fromage de brie. Sur le marché du dimanche matin vous pourrez découvrir toute l'étendue de son degré d'affinage et tous les autres bries ( Melun, Montereau, Provins ...) Il est possible, sur rendez-vous de visiter une fromagerie.
