Because 2 of jan the restaurant was closed we were advised to visit Bistro de Casino, 5 minutes by car. In the dark not easy to drive, but on the parking in front of the casino building what way to go ? Finally the someone came to show us the way along three times deep down stares in the dark ! You better never advise this place in winter and rain. We found it very dangerous. The staf did not tell us te have a front door key coming back, so we had to nock on a window. Fabulous, friendly, cheerful and delightful welcome. It made us very happy and smile. We are 2 long distance cyclists riding from the UK to Italy. The Brit Hot was perfect. It was exactly on our route and whilst the restaurant was closed there was a big restaurant just an easy walk away. It was all perfect. Good room. Good shower. Good breakfast. Good price. And a brilliant Manager. Highly recommended.
