Pleasant stay in Lyon at Ibis. It's located in a pretty convenient location where transport is close and walking to attractions is easy. The staff were lovely and the reception even hosts a decently sized area to grab a drink and relax; it also has a nice arcade machine as well. The room was comfortable, albeit a bit small but it wasn't really an issue as we were only utilising the room for rest. Highly recommended if you are a backpacker or in need of a good and affordable place to stay.

Set in central Lyon, ibis Lyon Gare Part Dieu is only 200 metres from Part Dieu shopping centre and 2 km from Tête d'Or Park. It features a bar and restaurant, and you can browse the Wi-Fi access for free. The soundproofed rooms are equipped with air conditioning, flat-screen TV, telephone and radio. Each has a private bathroom with either a bath or a shower and a hairdryer. A buffet breakfast composed of sweet and savoury dishes such as eggs, fruit salad, yogurts and juices is served every day. Pastries baked on site and fresh French Madeleine cakes are also on offer, as well as a hot beverage and a piece of fruit to take away.
