Staff was very helpful and friendly In particular the girl at check in (Manel) was extremely helpful answering my many questions. Oumare who worked in the breakfast nook was very kind and helpful. To the point that when we ran into him in the street, he remembered us and said "hello" first. When I told him we were looking for a restaurant to eat at he tried to explain in his limited English (my french was even worse) and seeing I was confused, offered to walk us to the restaurant, even though it was the opposite direction he was walking. Staff like these two are EXCEPTIONAL! I was so impressed that upon check out I had to inquire about their names so I could give them the credit they are due. I suspect many others have done the same. I would appreciate if you could pass on my "thank you" to both of them. People like that are what makes a stay much better than average, so thanks to both!

Close to train station and many metro lines. Quiet room, good blackout curtains and clean modern room. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was a good size for Paris.

Room with openable window to inner court, fresh air and calm, despite 1 row of houses away alongside a narrow street from the East station Gare de l'Est. Room much larger than anticipated. Bathroom very acceptable size. Shower good quality. Tiny but handy lift especially if you wish to have your luggage sent upstairs easily. Airco worked fine. There were tissues and carton mugs in the bathroom. Soap is also available. For Paris, this was really excellent, and at a very convenient rate!

Nice design of the room, modern, comfortable, with a view on Sacre Coeur. Normal size bathroom where 2 ppl easily can prepare to go out. Good localisation, close to metro, 20-30 minutes walk to the River. Small breakfast place, but you can eat very good breakfast there. Not only croissant 😉
