Only stayed in Orthez one night, it was a stop-over back to the Eurotunnel. Would love to go back. We walked into town in the evening, seemed to be lots going on and great atmosphere. Very friendly town.
The location is perfect. There are many places around for visiting, the Orthez town itself is wonderful for walking around, very beautiful . We loved the lake nearby, its amazing place for walking.
The owners live on the second floor, they are very nice people and always helpful. They let our dog tun everywhere in the garden, it was so nice. The apartment is very cosy and has everything you need. It was a marvelous week!
the hotel was perfect for our stay. The rooms were very clean, staff friendly and very helpful. Family room was big enough to accommodate our family and even a baby cot fit there. The pool was nice. and the restaurant next door is perfect for a meat lovers or a vegetarian (we had both). children had several different toys to play with at the play area and also loved the pool.
Thé hôtel was clean and comfortable. The room was quite small for two of us but pleasant enough. We ate in the little restaurant for two nights in a row. Reasonable price and good food. Only real downside is location. 15 minutes walk out along a main road and far from town centre. However - this would not be a problem if you have a car.
All went smoothly, the hotel is a great old building, worked already as hospital.. and looks like an old hospital on ours days, inclusive they left lots of medical hardware on the walls, amazing detail...
The staff was usefully and very helpful..
The price was ok for the hotel accomodations.
We recommend it.
Great place with really lovely owners. Orthez isn't a particularly great place to visit but it's perfectly located as a base to explore the region. Food is excellent and if the owners offer you dinner, you should accept straight away. The pool is a tranquil haven after a hard day of being a tourist.
The large, light room was in the hosts’ beautiful old house right in the centre of Orthez. Free parking on the street outside or in a nearby carpark. A delicious breakfast served in the garden. Lovely hosts who made us welcome and gave useful information about the area, restaurants , etc.
Located by city center. Plenty of coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. The place needs a little more attention, but it was fairly priced. It served its purpose for the night. I think it is a sanatorium/hotel. Staff was very nice.
Friendly personel, clean and good rooms. In summer there is a outside hotel pool available. Restaurant near by for good meals for dinner. Have had still an good night.
