Keranmeriet is a small hamlet and is set in 100 acres of beautiful unspoilt countryside, with abundant wildlife. It is perfect place for people who want to get back to nature, enjoy the peace and quiet, yet wish to be close to beaches, historic towns and tourist attractions. In our 100 acres you will find a 12m x 6m outdoor heated pool (open 20th May to 30th September), a small lake, the protected river Aven, a magical natural meadow with picnic tables and acres of woodland to explore. For children there is an outdoor play area (swings, slides etc.) with a sandpit, indoor games barn with games and a table tennis table. We also have chickens, ducks, cats and a Golden Retriever. We also keep bee hives and produce our own honey. We have 7 Cottages that have been sympathetically renovated and are suitable everyone; couples, families and guests with disabilities. There are many historic places to visit close by, such as Pont Aven (10 mins drive), famous for watermills and artists such as Gaugin, Concarneau (15 mins drive) with it's walled town and fishing port, Quimper (20 mins drive), with it's historic Cathedral and medieval buildings, great for shoppers and historians alike. The Dairy 1 bedroom sleeps 3. It has been renovated to the highest standard and offers a lovely view over the garden and beautiful countryside. The cottage is all on the ground floor and suitable for guests with reduced mobility and wheelchairs. It is open plan with a lounge area that has an angle sofa which can convert into a bed. Fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, Tassimo coffee machine, Fridge/freezer). Dining area with table and chairs. The bedroom has a double bed (height adjusted) Italian bathroom with anti slip floor, toilet/sink/shower adapted for reduced mobility guests. Garden with furniture, BBQ, loungers The outdoor pool is open from 20th May to 30th September. WIFI is free and fast service. Towel hire not incl. English & French satellite TV.

We moved to France in 2003 with our 2 year old son and since then have grown to a family of five. We love this area, the locals are very welcoming and there is always so many things to do here whether it's winter or summer. We live here all year round and prefer a personal touch so will be here to welcome you on arrival, we are passionate about Keranmeriet and our area and are here to help you with any questions you may have during your stay.

Our closest market town is Rosporden (2km) and it has all the facilities you should need during your stay. It has three pretty lakes that are great for walks, feeding the ducks and swans and going jogging. You can also join the voie verte here, an old disused railway line, which you can walk or cycle to Concarneau in one direction and to Roscoff in the other!
