“House was adorable with a huge eat-in kitchen where meals were served. Here they served dinner, which we unfortunately missed, as well as breakfast. We arrived late but were immediately greeted with glasses of wine in the kitchen. Everyone was so friendly and engaging, without being intrusive. We sat outside on the patio socializing with the other guests into late in the evening, enjoying the beautiful backyard. In the morning we were greeted by a fabulous breakfast. The owner/chef asked us the previous evening whether we wanted a sweet or salty breakfast, so my husband picked salty, I chose sweet and we shared. Everything was delicious! We truly felt at home. “This is a traditional guest house with wonderful hosts. We were driving through so didn't really explore the area, but the home was super clean, comfortable and peaceful, surrounded by forest - perfect for weary travellers.”

“Beatrice and Patrice made us feel very welcome in their home. WE ahd a lovely big room with a very comfortable bed. There was a desk area with a stool and spce for clothes. There was a sofa on the landing outside the room. We were one flight of stairs up. Breakfasts were excellent and made to our personal preferences. Beatrice cooked dinner for us and the other two couples who were staying, one night. It was a most enjoyable evening. Parking was by the door and we were let in initially by pressing the button at the gate. After that we were given a key and gate remote control. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood surrounded by trees. It was a delight to watch the birds come to the bird feeder in the mornings. ” Read more
