La Ferme de Philomène - Gîte en Périgord Noir

Welcome to our house ! A large house, where everyone has their independence (entrance, terrace and gardens separated and oriented on each of the facades of the house), but where everyone crosses paths! A little corner of paradise, with our animals and the song of the birds, which we will be delighted to share with you with ease :)

Let yourself be seduced by the discreet charm of the ocher limestone of the Périgourdine countryside, and enjoy, for a short or long stay, the sweetness of life in our gîte, with materials and soft, warm and natural colours... You will be welcomed in our house, on the first floor of the old barn, transformed into a comfortable and relaxing gîte. You will have an independent entrance, which you will access by the large stairs located on the left side of the house. As in times past, we share the outdoor spaces with our animals, who are an integral part of the family. Thus, you will not miss during your stay our two dogs and our hens who all roam free, but also our two biggest hairballs, Karène and Darkos, our two retired horses. On the other hand, do not be afraid, they are in their enclosures, but in the immediate vicinity of the house. We will welcome you in the natural simplicity of our house, a little corner of paradise that we wish to share with you during your stay. The cottage consists of an open living space of 26 m², with equipped kitchen, living room with sofas, TV, board games area, and a dining room. A real space of conviviality, where the charm of the stones and the woodwork will invite you to relax. A double bedroom with Queen bed 160 x 200. Bathroom with double basin, large mirror and walk-in pebble shower. The cottage offers in addition to a toilet in the bathroom, another separate toilet. Take advantage of a large 25 m² terrace not overlooked, equipped with everything you need for a stay as it should be: table and chairs, sun loungers, gas barbecue, parasol. You will have a space of 500 m² to take full advantage of the exteriors of your gîte. Rest or have lunch in the shade of the plane trees, sit on the swing to listen to the birdsong, sunbathe on your deckchair: the choice is yours

The history of the region goes back almost to the dawn of time... so inevitably, there is a lot to do and see. We are located in the south of the Dordogne department in the Périgord Noir, in the heart of the country of Bastides and the Bessède Forest, which you absolutely must discover. You can take the opportunity to discover the most famous places in this beautiful region by traveling through history and eras. You will also be enchanted by the calm and serenity of the Périgord countryside and will be able to take advantage of all that nature has to offer. Our privileged location also allows us to be at the crossroads between the Périgord Pourpre and the Lot et Garonne. You will be able to discover the famous vineyards of Monbazillac or Pécharmant and visit the Lot and Garonne countryside, its castles and peaceful villages.
