Fabulous mid 19th century building in Niort. the bedroom was stunning with high ceilings and tons of room with a very comfortable bed. The en-suite was modern and elegant. if you’re visiting Niort or driving through France (as I was) this is a very pleasant change form the usual hotel offering. The very friendly owners were there to greet me at the door, even though my arrival was quite late. Breakfast was wonderfully French with fruit, yoghurt, crepes, homemade jams and local cheese. Definitely worth trying out if you’re a traveller or a visitor.

What can i say wow! 11 out of 10 .the house is incredible the decor is palatial and the breakfast was so organic and locally produced,homemade jams. and cakes.The hosts were incredible.Just a short walk into town close to the train station and parking outside only downside they dont charge enough👍

A beautiful 19th century house elegantly renovated by its equally elegant hosts, Laurence and Luc, for whom nothing was too much trouble. Our room was huge, beautiful, comfortable and very well equipped. Breakfast was amazing and almost all home made. We have no hesitation in recommending Maison 19 and will definitely return.

    Hello, There are two alternatives to park your car nearby our house : free in the street in front of the house, if available, or at "La brèche" car park, for 2 € per night (from 7 p.m till 9 a.m). Kind regards, Laurence & Luc

  • Good afternoon, I'm wondering whether it is possible to park the car nearby at a safe spot.
    Hello, You can park your park in the street in front of the house, (free and quit easy to find a place) or at the Park of La Brèche (public car park, less than 200m from our house). Both of these alternatives are rather safe. Kind regards Laurence
