It was an excellent location to explore the villages in the area including Roussillon. Please note however, that it is not situated in any town, but in a lovely forested area near many beautiful villages.

The old property was, we think, a farmhouse.
The old property was, we think, a farmhouse. There was no a/c. 40 decrees day. Night too hot. Many door & windows wouldn't open for ventilation. Bathroom glass door panel was seriously cracked, as was panel on shower wall. Dangerous. Some elec. points old and loose. No tv. but didn't mind. Host, Christine, couldn't have been more helpful. Good breakfasts. Lovely location. Peaceful and quiet.

Rousillon is a cute little hilltop village - we had a wonderful stroll and dinner and overnight stay at La Maison des Ocres. I would recommend it for an overnight stop but not necessary for a long stop.

A few comments we read indicated some sort of weird vibe from this town, which made us second-guess our decision to visit and stay in the area. But we are so glad we didn't change our plans - we didn't feel that way at all. We loved Roussillon. The shops and the restaurants were great, most with balconies over the cliffs and very good, reasonably priced meals. Plenty to see and do in the area.

Roussillon is a beautiful little old village on a hilltop with magnificent views. There are lots of reasonably priced restaurants. There is a public car park quite near the centre which is not expensive and free on a Sunday.

Very picturesque & clean, with wonderful views of the cliffs & the
surrounding area & the entire town smelled great! Terrific place for
walking (if you like uphill climbs!); not so great for cars (not unexpected) but most car traffic observes safety rules. The Thursday market was full of beautiful, fresh foods as well as lots of things you'd actually like to buy! Perfect spot in Provence!
This was a wonderful accommodation. The host was very helpful, gracious, and accommodating. We felt very welcome and at home. We liked the care that she took with all the details of the establishment in terms of decoration and comfort. Our room had a little balcony with a wonderful view of the village and of the Luberon. We were served breakfast there. The breakfast was wonderful: fresh, homemade and plentiful. We couldn't have been happier here. We recommend this maison d'hôtes for everybody wanting to visit the beautiful Luberon.
A little corner of paradise! The host, Phillippe, met us as we arrived, instantly making us feel at home. He gave us useful information on the local area, and served delicious breakfasts by the pool. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was large, with tables both inside and outside, and doors opening onto the lovely pine forest and pool. There's a nice 20 min walk which will take you to Roussillon with it's breathtaking ochre trail. We loved our stay here - thank you very much Phillippe and Bridgette
Absolutely superb Manor House, tastefully and sumptuously restored in an idyllic spot just 4km from Roussillon. Beautiful bedrooms each themed by an Impressionist artist. Free tea/ coffee making facilities. Breakfast was served in courtyard and was also wonderful with fresh berries, pastries and truffle omelette. The attention to detail certainly evident. Philippe is a welcoming host. Thank you !
Wonderful small villa in Provence region. There was a really nice terrace adjoining living room and also a little backyard with a jacuzzi (that we used and listened to some beautiful acoustic guitar playing from the neighbors). Very clean and well organized. Excellent value and I would totally recommend to stay here as a base to explore the lovely Provence towns and villages further.
The room and hotel were beautifully clean. In the room was a fridge, safe, air conditioning and endless supply of still or sparkling water. The pool was lovely, especially in the heat. We paid for the breakfast which was worth every penny. There was a wide choice of delicious food. The staff could not have been more helpful. This was our second visit and did not disappoint.
Such a gorgeous setting, with a picturesque pool in a lush yard with beautiful ochre cliffs as a backdrop. Walking distance to “downtown” Roussillon. Excellent breakfast, very comfortable bed, and extremely lovely owners. I definitely favor hotels on the whole, but this was really fantastic and I couldn’t recommend it enough.
Beautiful home in a tiny village. The lovely decorating gave our room an upscale feel. Nice to relax by the pool with a glass of wine. Good breakfast and ample parking. Within a short drive to Roussillon which was one of our favorite places, but it would not be a walkable distance. Hosts spoke some English which was helpful.
Brilliant hosts who went above and beyond to make us comfortable and gave us lots of tips.
The house is full of personality with a beautiful garden. It is surrounded by charming countryside and is easy to reach Roussillon from there. Very easy to park at the house.
Great breakfast with nice choice of music.
The hotel is beautiful and charming, and our room very romantic. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the ochre rocks and the tables are nicely spaced out. The situation of the hotel is ideal for walking around Roussillon which we adore.
Le Clé des Champs was a wonderful place to stay close to Roussillon and central to all the hill towns of the Luberon. The B&B was perfect in every way and our hosts were amazing! Dinners served at Le Cle were 5 star for sure! It was our home away from home for a week!
Cristal is a lovely hostess. the place is sparkly clean and the location is great!!! walking distance to Roussillon. you cannot go wrong with this place. the medieval architecture gives the place a fairy tale and mystique flare.
Has free parking space reserved for hotel guests. Great view to the landscape from the room. The restaurant Davids is in 2022 Michelin Guide and the front desk can help with the reservation.
The location of the property is great to easily visit Roussillon and the ocher trail. It even comes with free, nearby parking! Everything is neat and well facilitated.
The guest is very kind and let us feel at home!
After a trip in the Provence towns you can relax in the beatiful swimming pool and enjoy quiet of the villa!
Clean and cordial staff. Small fridge in the room and AC works well. Close to Roussillon center by car.
The pool was open and sadly I didn’t get to use.
