We love our little apartment in Chamonix! The town itself always has that special atmosphere and arriving on a crystal clear, sunny day cannot help but make the heart sing! Unlock the apartment and draw the curtains, walk out onto the balcony and your eyes are immediately drawn to the stunning view of Mont Blanc (not to mention the Glacier des Bossons, Dome de Gouter and l'Aiguille du Midi thrown in!) Chamonix is a place for mountain lovers the world over, and our apartment is the perfect base.
Welcome to Champalo! We've been welcoming guests to our little apartment for several years now and always aim to provide you with a warm welcome and as much information as you want. We love hearing about your trip - before and after - and we promise not to be too jealous when we're stuck in rainy London! We are keen skiers (of course) in winter and keen hikers in summer (the TMB and the Haute Route are unforgettable memories). Not to mention other activities such as cycling, climbing, via ferrata, parapente, tennis, swimming, skating. We are sure you'll have a great time here.
Our apartment is situated in Chamonix Sud (a minute's walk from the bus station and 5 minutes' amble into the town centre). There are bars, restaurants supermarkets, museums, sports shops all within very easy reach. No need for a car here!
