The variety of teas on offer The homemade jams The dogs The view

Sarah France

The location and the view from the terrace were absolutely stunning! The bikes felt secure, parked under a 350 year old Holm Oak tree (with an information plaque). The room was large. Breakfast was tasty (especially the homemade cinnamon pastries).

Ruth United Kingdom

We arrived here (driving is tricky in Marseille!) and were pleased to be able to park outside to check-in. We then used the car park down the road which was reasonable and secure. The hotel bar on the roof terrace was closed which meant we could take our own drinks up there with glasses and ice from the staff. The view is INCREDIBLE and we sat up here for hours drinking wine and watching the port and the world go by. I am not sure where all of the other hotel guests were but we were the only people up there! It felt like we had a private terrace with the most wonderful view of Marseille (worth every penny!). The rooms were fairly tight as you would expect from a city hotel, but clean and breakfast was good. Staff all friendly, we would recommend staying here (roof terrace visit is a must!).

Rachel United Kingdom

The food and drink was excellent and we loved the personal service and range of local seasonal produce we had.

Tim United Kingdom

This place is a sanctuary. The wind was blowing hard when we arrived and seemed to deliver us to the top of the mountain, where we stared at the view for a very long time because it was so good we were unable to fully comprehend it. At no notice our hosts cooked for us the most beautiful and carefully made meal and welcomed us to their home not as strangers but as friends. A restorative 24 hours

Simon United Kingdom
