The room was quiet and comfortable and the ambience was a small family-run cosy hotel. Breakfast was good. Evening meals were to a set menu but good home cooking and generous. Facilities were what you would expect with a 2 star hotel
United KingdomFantastic location, right by the Tufs lift, so ski in and ski out and very close to lots of bars and restaurants, and opposite the elevator to get to ground level and the bus stop All the staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating. Lovely breakfast jn the morning, very relaxed atmosphere to the hotel. Bedroom was very clean and tended too every day.
United KingdomThe beautifully authentic Hotel Vanoise is the most wonderful place to stay, and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who values genuine hospitality rather than pomp and show. The family who run it are wonderfully friendly and speak fantastic English, and run a small bar in the evening as well as providing an inexpensive and delicious home-cooked meal every night. If I ever visit Tignes again I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!
