From the moment we walked in, we knew we had arrived for what was going to be a memorable stay. The room was cozy, light-filled, comfortable and decorated to reflect the mountain setting. It was the same in the restaurant, which seemed to be a natural gathering place for afternoon socializing. The staff is amazingly friendly. Cauterets and the surrounding mountain villages and sights (Pont d’Espagne) are beyond beautiful. We also enjoyed time in Les Bains de Rocher spa. All in all, a « wow » stay. Room 302 is a gem with dual aspect windows and views over the rooftops of the town towards the mountains (with small balconies to step out on to to get the air). Breakfast good as well.
