Danielle was so accommodating, sweet, knowledgeable and made us feel so welcome. She took time to show us around even when our train showed up around 11pm at night. She met us, explained where things were, had excellent suggestions and treated us like extended family!. She speaks only French however very savvy in translation with her mobile device and easily understood. ( my daughter speaks French so that helped as well) The place was amazing and in a sweet town very quaint and quiet but stunning with much to explore. We rented bikes for the two days we were there and it is approximately a 20 min bike ride into Epernay.. I would return and consider renting any one of her 3 cottages 1,2 or 3. We stayed in 3, it was perfect for us. She and her husband built some of the furnishings and took great care in making sure appartments are spotless and welcoming. A MUST if you love the countryside and small town charm with close proximity to the the much larger "small town" of Epernay. We will return!

We booked a suite, it turned out to be a great choice. At first were a bit skeptical since hotel personnel is only available between 7 am to 7 pm, outside that window you received a code; it was easy to handle. Parking at not extra cost. Bottom line, either you go for the high end hotels and pay 1,200 euros or stay at this location from where you can ove around easily.
