The hotel was much better than photos. It is located closely from the Amboise castle, just across the short walking distance of bridge. The hotel room was very nicely decorated in French style and the two rooms and the bathroom are spacious. We stayed 2 bedrooms suites which we didn't hear any noises from outside. The selection of breakfast was simple, bread, ham & cheese, yogurt, 2 types of juices and coffee and fruits, but there are quite variety of breads including warm croissants and baguettes, good quality of hams & cheeses and yogurts. I'm used to quite good quality of French breads from the famous boulangeries in Paris but the hotel provide quite surprisingly delicious French breads.

Elodie went out of her way to help us with our car rental because the rental company closed in July and we did not receive a notification. We had to rebook through another company. We appreciated her driving us to the car rental 10 minutes away and also arranging for them to pick up the car. The room was spacious, clean and decorated beautifully. The breakfast was also very good. We took an early train from Paris and arrived just after 9am in Amboise. We had expected to drop our luggage and go and pick up the car. Elodie told us our room was ready and also offered us breakfast as well! This is excellent customer service and we couldn’t thank Elodie enough for making our trip to Amboise a great experience!

Very well appointed period property with very large rooms and quality furnishings. It is ideally located at one end of Amboise bridge and with off road gated parking. Hosts Elodie and Aude are very welcoming and the breakfasts are amazing.

Our greeting on arrival by the owner was very welcoming and efficient. Secure parking was a bonus as we had 2 electric bikes on the back of our car. The location on the river bank opposite the chateau was exceptional as was the view from our bedroom window. Excellent shower room and spacious well furnished bedroom. The breakfast was of a high standard, very well presented with a wide range of good quality options.
