Everything! Great room at a great price—quiet, comfortable, not spacious but plenty big enough for both of us and all our stuff. The staff was amazing—nearly everyone speaks good English so it was very easy to make whatever arrangements we needed. They accommodated our request for an earlier check-in time very graciously. The on-site restaurant was very, very nice with more great staff who helped us with our ignorance of some of the food items. The menu was available in English. Breakfast was nice, too, with cheerful personal service. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL FOR ENGLISH SPEAKERS NOT COMFORTABLE WITH THEIR FRENCH.

SwitzerlandFriendly service, the site itself has a nice garden, it is a quiet place. The hotel is located in a commercial area with supermarkets etc, that is not very fancy. But Clermont Ferrand is not to far away and the surroundings are very nice for cycling. The hotel has no dedicated bicycle parking but they let us store the bikes in their workshop, behind a locked door. The restaurant is spectacular, haute cuisine for special ocasions.

There was also a great selection of wines, but we chose local ones. And they were delicious. As was the local beer. Staff were very friendly and knowledgable.

Le Clos St Eloi is a 4 * hotel restaurant. Located in Thiers cutlery capital is 2 km away from exit 29 on the A89. It's an enclosure of 1.5ha, near the historic center of the city. With its park with old trees and flowers in the sandstone seasons you can enjoy a piece of nature. The restaurant is renowned for the quality of its products and their freshness. The young chef Antoine to select product from the area of local and regional products. Formed by great leaders he knows how to marry local flavors and exotic southern-inspired recipes. In winter meals are served near the fireplace and summer terrace overlooking the park invites you to relax. Former coaching inn in the 18th century. Historically the Clos was a place of welcome and rest. The building housing the rooms is isolated in the park and all rooms have views of the countryside. The recent renovation has enabled all rooms at a level of comfort where every room has among others an air conditioning, a bathroom with Italian shower, mini bar, individual safe a personalized welcome service. A closed and secure parking enables everyone to make this place become a step not to be missed during your business trip or holiday route.
