Muscadet is a 3 bedroomed cottage which sleep 6 people. It has one double room, one twin room and a room with bunk beds. There is a family bathroom upstairs. Downstairs there is an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. Outside is a patio with a barbecue, table, chairs and parasol. We have plenty of outdoor space for children to play. Heated outdoor swimming pool from 1st May until 15th October.

Le Hutereau is situated in a small village in the heart of the French countryside. It is ideally located for exploring the towns and villages of Mayenne, Lower Normandy and East Brittany. The river Mayenne is only a short 20 minute drive away and the cycle path alongside the river is a beautiful way to see the local countryside. We can arrange cycle hire for you. Although the gîtes have fully equipped kitchens you may want to visit some of the local restaurants in Ernée, Mayenne or Fougères. There are numerous picturesque medieval towns and villages to visit and explore within a short distance: Vitré, Fougères, Domfront, Fontaine Daniel and Saint Suzanne are just a few. There is an excellent 27 hole golf course at Laval. For the more athletic (and children) there is an adventure park at Gorron with canoeing, paintballing, rafting and treetop climbing. If Châteaux and museums are your thing, then we have plenty in the area to explore and enjoy. Due to its rural location, Le Hutereau is an ideal place for bird watching, reading a book or simply relaxing in the peace and quiet of the countryside.
