Strasbourg struck me as a vibrant city with many young people and many nationalities.
I found it easy to walk around the city and appreciated the many different styles of architecture.
There was no outstanding museum or building, but the overall impression was good.

The history of the city of Strasbourg was never ending!
The history of the city of Strasbourg was never ending! The old buildings, the beautiful views as well as the very helpful and friendly shop owners and citizens ensures that we will return to Strasbourg. We stayed at Hotel Gutenberg (right around the corner from Notre Dame) and very close to restaurants and shops.

One of the best places I have been to.
One of the best places I have been to. Notre dame is a must visit. Take in the beauty of the canals and stroll by.
There are boats plying on the canal. Don’t take them. Walk is the best. People are very friendly. Beer is good.

Strasbourg is a lovely city any time of the year.
Strasbourg is a lovely city any time of the year. I am not a big fan of Christmas markets, but the one in Strasbourg is one of the oldest ones in Europe. The city is not too big, it is worth walking around, having a coffee or lunch on one of the terraces in Petite France or taking a boat trip on the canals. The tower of the cathedral gives an amazing view of the city.

I have fallen in love with this city but the best part is where I'm from people barely know about it and when I'm showing them the pictures they are in shock! :>
I was getting there right after day in Venice, here are some comparisons:
Strasbourg and Venice have great cuisine.
Both cities can be called City of bridges - Strasburg have river ILL through the centre of the city and Rhine by side
Venice smells (dump water) but Strasbourg is not.
Venice buildings are falling apart, but Strasbourg are not.
Strasbourg have very friendly people, Venice.. depends.
I will definitely go back to Strasbourg.
The personnel is extremely nice and helpful. A good quality breakfast with a focus on reducing food waste. Within the same token, free second-hand books available in the corridors. Entertainment for kids is also provided for, e.g. table football. Clean and bright interior.
The hotel is conveniently located near tram B (connection to city centre) and within walking distance of Petite France and the train station. There's a security code to enter the building boosting the feeling of safety.
The room was very clean and stylish, and in a great location - only a short walk down to some great bars, bakeries and shops, and a lovely walk to Petite France. The staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. They happily turned on the sauna outside of the regular times for us, which is a great facility of the hotel, super luxurious and clean! The bathroom was also very clean and I loved the shower, and fluffy robes are always a plus! I would definitely stay at Hotel D again.
This is a beautiful hotel in the centre of Strasbourg, we arrived early but that was not a problem they parked our car and kept our bags to place in our room later. The hotel is around a 6 minute walk from le petit France. There are also nice bars and restaurants in the area. The spa was lovely. The room was very large and the bed super comfortable. I would recommend for anyone who wants to treat themselves while in Strasbourg.
BOMA hotel has convenient location: ±10-minutes walk from the railway station, several minutes of an easy walk to the Cathédrale Notre Dame de Strasbourg, to the area of La Petite France. There is a variety of bars, restaurants, bistro in the neighbouring streets. Our double room was new (or newly refurbished) with an elegant decor. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The personnel of reception was professional and welcoming.
Victoria is a perfect match of price and quality! I never take luxury hotels no matter whether business trip or a leisure. It was not my first stay at Victoria. It met my expectations this time too. WiFi was excellent! hot water was good! Bed was comfy! what else is needed? the location is convenient! within 100 meters from the railway station and within 5 minutes walk from Petit France (historic area of Strasbourg).
The staff is very kind and helpful. Due to car trouble we were stranded in Strasbourg for another night and the staff made sure we could stay in our (upgraded) hotel room for another night. Also the breakfast is great, the room beautiful and the location amazing. Just a 40 minute walk to the city centre and you can walk through the beautiful parc l’orangerie. Just an amazing stay 🤗
What a delightful hotel in a privileged location. We had 3 rooms in the Pavillon annex (451, which we liked the best and 452, 454) all of them being clean, spacious and comfortable with all having lovely views. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I would certainly recommend a stay in this upscale hotel in the beautiful town of Strasbourg.
Wonderful location for a weekend stay in Strasbourg. Comfortable rooms with nice view of the city. Hotel is a 15 minute walk to the centre of the old city, with shops (pharmacy, groceries, wine shop, bakery) only 2-3 minutes away. Staff were very kind and accommodating. Neighbourhood was quiet and very safe.
The location of the accommodation is very central next to the tram that takes you to the centre of the city. Walking distance from the picturesque Petite France ! The hotel is also 1 min walk from the contemporary art museum. Nice building as well !! Studio size was good with all necessary facilities.
The hotel was located a few streets from the train station and about a 10 minute walk to Petit France and the cathedral. There are trams that can take you everywhere also within walking distance. My room was big for Europe, comfortable and clean. The staff were always helpful and courteous.
Second time staying in this hotel and it’s a place that I’d probably always want to come back to if staying in Strasbourg.
Apartments are super modern, well planned out and an apartment for 3 people still feels spacious and comfortable. The sleeper couch in the living room is decent too.
The room and the bathroom were clean. The location of the hotel is good for trips and it‘s possible to walk into the centre of Strasbourg within about half an hour. It was pretty quiet, especially during the night.
Strasbourg is a great city and restaurants aren‘t too expensive.
we’ve stayed before whilst passing through this area of France. it’s a good location if you don’t want to go into the centre of Strasbourg as it’s on the outskirts. safe & secure parking on site in a garage under the hotel. lovely friendly staff.
Absolutely perfect location in Petite France district. Great view. Large comfortable room. Friendly helpful staff. Great cocktail patio on the canal. Easy walk to prime destinations. Perhaps the best hotel stay ever in a long life of travel.
New, nice decorated, good service, very comfortable bed, good size of room, big bathroom with bathtub, good location. All you want from hotel to stay in strasbourg! I will back to stay here again for sure when back strasbourg!
Great hotel with excellent location for the centre of Strasbourg. Our room was well furnished and quiet with a comfy bed and tea/coffee facilities. Lots of great local restaurants in the surrounding streets.
Everything! Lovely hotel, great room, spacious clean and modern refurbished to a high standard and great breakfast choice. Loved Strasbourg and if we come back we will definitely stay at Le Grand
The location is a bit far from the city centre
The space for breakfast is not enough
There are coffee machines in other ibis style hotel but not for this one
Great location to Petite France, train station and rental car agency. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable.
