Some odd reviews meant that we were not sure what to expect. It was in the event much much nicer than we could have hoped. Essentially it is like staying with family or very close friends. No pretensions at all and you are expected to muck in and be part of the family during your stay - which means cleaning your own breakfast things (but not dinner). Dinner with wine is, like a family meal, what is being served and at €15 including wine is a good price for healthy family style cooking. The many conversations are at no extra charge
