Had a great week long stay! The apartment is bright, cozy, roomy, comfortable and has lots of storage. Location is perfect - just on the edge of the Old Town, close to the train station and a central location for day trips to Sarlat, Bordeaux... Host is very nice - drove us to and from the airport and gave us a tour of the area around the apartment on the way in. He also provided maps, info, wine, water and snacks. Two thumbs up.

The apartment was spotless and plenty of hot water. Located in a very convenient part of town, we enjoyed using the bikes for a Sunday cycle by the river. The building has belonged to my family for a long time. My grandfather worked there as an optician-photographer for 47 years and myself for 40 years. My daughter works there today as a hearing healthcare professional. It also houses a photographic archive center which processes and makes available to the public the thousands of photos taken by my grandfather since 1930. It is not surprising that the theme of photography is very present in all the decoration of the building and its dwellings.
I take great pleasure in helping my travelers discover the treasures of Bergerac and the Dordogne. For those who love beautiful countryside landscapes, old stones and good food, this region is a paradise.
The apartments are located in the city center but in the quiet of a pedestrian street on the edge of the old town and the new town. This means that you are a few minutes walk from the ancient heritage but also a few steps from shops, restaurants and services.
