“Les Jardins de Baracane” is a charming 17th-century guest house right at the heart of the captivating city of Avignon Full of light and warmth, the house is south-facing and all rooms overlook the garden. Its front house with its 24 windows exudes a certain elegance and offers both homely comfort and a peaceful atmosphere. The fully renovated 17th-century residence is laid out around a huge staircase which distributes the five air-conditioned bedrooms. Since the property’s garden is its star attraction, we have named the Jardins de Baracane's five rooms after five beautiful gardens... All our guest rooms are south-facing and enjoy a view of the garden and the secluded swimming pool. Situated on the first, second and third floors of the mansion, the rooms are all air-conditioned and have a unique charm and authentic character: terracotta, hexagonal or cement tiles, old trusses and beams, arched windows and interior shutters. They provide both comfort and privacy with their en-suite bathroom (shower or bath, washbasin and toilet). We have left books on shelves and in various nooks and crannies so you can share our tastes and interests.

My name is Olivier, I am the owner of this guest house which I hold together with my wife, Laurence. I have been travelling all over the world for more than 20 years as a buyer of nuts, herbs and spices. I therefore love meeting and welcoming people, exchanging, giving and receiving. After a long renovation and transformation of the place into a guest house by an architect, we opened our house "Les Jardins de Baracane" to all our fellow travelers in search of a break in a unique place, full of history. Travelers staying in "Gardens of Baracane" will enjoy these moments of rest under the arbor wisteria flowers, strolling in the shade of trees, refreshments at the edge of the pool absolutely unique in the heart of historic Avignon. Les Jardins de Baracane will be the perfect place for creating memories, sharing emotions and providing experiences which will make you want to come back again.
