The location is stunning and the property lovely with 270 degree views. Our host Charmaine left a welcome basket for us which was very thoughtful and gratefully received. It is so peaceful, we had booked for 3 nights and were lucky we could stay an extra night. Locally there are some gorgeous villages and vineyards to explore. A little piece of heaven.

Our host Eric was lovely and always happy to help. Very accommodating and let us use the kitchen to cook. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the location perfect for relaxing.

Emet was lovely but if you are staying longer than a couple of nights you would be better to have a car to travel to other places. Some lovely places close by to visit but would need a car public transport is very poor here.

Eymet has a supermarket, a good range of bars, restaurants and a few independent shops. Together with the weekly markets, it meant that we could stay local whenever we chose to do so. The area around the town is beautiful, lots of vineyards and wine caves where the owners are only too happy for you to try and then buy.

Eymet is lovely, it’s busy and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes to easily last you a week. There are two markets in the summer one Tuesday evening and one Thursday am both get very busy. It is a short drive to Bergerac which is lovely. There are loads of other towns near which have lovely cafes etc. You can easily spend two weeks and not get bored.

The town centre is varied and interesting.
The town centre is varied and interesting. A short visit to the Bastion and centre is worth it. Take in a cocktail or a meal in a wonderful location. A market on Thursday of local producers is worth the time.

Eymet is a very pretty Bastide town with a lovely central square. Many fabulous restaurants & quaint shops. Lots of friendly locals including English. Market day on Thursday morning is a must whether to buy local produce or just meet up with friends for coffee.

Nice town with several new restaurants coming on board.
Nice town with several new restaurants coming on board. Lots of expats have started to call this place home. Walnut is new and offered a fantastic menu, reasonably priced. The Italian restarant is a good family option. Easy to walk around Eymet and relax in many outdoor cafes.
Petit Gite Eymet was a fabulous property to stay in. We spent a family week there and really appreciated the modern, spotlessly clean and well furnished surroundings. Everything was as described and both the property itself and the outdoor areas (garden and pool) were extremely well maintained. Eymet is just a few minutes walk from the gite and provides a lively centre with a great boulangerie and range of restaurants, surrounded on the outskirts by a beautiful rolling landscape of vineyards. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here.
We stayed in a two bedroomed apartment, which was located close to the centre of Eymet. It was self-contained, beautifully and elegantly furnished, clean, and the beds were large and extremely comfortable. Each bedroom had a shower room, again, clean and efficient. Leeann, the owner, was quick to respond to any problems or queries we had, and plates of delicious fruit and homemade muffins would appear on our table. We couldn't recommend Maison no. 20 more highly.
The apartment is very well decorated, super clean and very well located in the center of Eymet. Owners are super friendly, very accommodating. We ordered breakfast and it was delivered to our doorsteps with croissants, freshly baked muffins and bread. We had marmelade, butter, yogurts, milk, a coffee pot (for us to use whenever needed) and a kettle (with a large tea box containing a choice of several tea flavors). Everything was just perfect!
Patrice has thought of everything, from luxury comfort like a sauna, hot tub and swimming pool, to a spacious 2-bedroom property that is very clean and has everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom, as well as a desk for writing/using a computer if needed. The location is set upon a hill above the small town of Eymet, quiet and remote but not too far from social activities if desired.
Eymet's a cool little town with lots of great restaurants. The apartment isn't far from the main square, which is sweet. I loved everything about it, from the comfy apartment to the super-friendly welcome we got from Leeann.
The apartment has everything you need, and the bed is really comfy, too.
Big thanks for our awesome stay!
Lovely hotel, individual rooms, comfy bed, excellent breakfast, a short stroll to the main square, and easy parking. Mark and Paul are excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them, full of helpful tips and advice where to go, and great company to boot. Their dog Toby was an additional pleasure.
Location of this property is a 2 minute walk approximately, to Eymet square where there is a
choice of restaurants and bars. Parking was a breeze, either directly outside the property or in neighbouring streets. Bed was extremely comfortable, and en-suite was a nice size with an amazing shower.
Christine was a wonderful host and very welcoming. She had great recommendations and we could also use her machine to do some laundry (much appreciated!!). The location is right in the heart of Eymet and yet very quiet. We could store our bikes in the inner courtyard.
the property is outside of Eymet but a short drive. it’s super quiet with a small farm next door! everything was great, large room with very big bed, lovely living room, large bathroom and the kitchen/breakfast area is perfect.
It was tastefully decorated & furnished with everything we needed. The location was quiet and leafy, a short 10 minute stroll to Eymet village. The host Iris was very warm and friendly, they made us feel very welcome.
Beautiful home with all the necessary facilities, only a minute walk from the town centre. Would recommend to anyone visiting Eymet!! Perfect for families or a group of friends.
House/B&B with a big garden and a pool at the entry of Eymet, when coming from Bergerac, private parking, spacious room, very helpful hosts, short walk to the city centre,
an incredibly beautiful 2 bed in the heart of Eymet.
spotlessly clean
comfy beds
lovely bed linen
great shower / bathroom
incredible courtyard
great size kitchen
Great location for Eymet centre. Restaurants and shops. Very quaint in an old part of the Bastide.
