The hotel was very clean and cozy. Reception is open 24h. We enjoyed some wine at the patio after a long day sightseeing. Location is very convenient to go downtown by metro and also to walk to Pigalle (good restaurants and bars) and Sacre Coeur. Hotel has a sauna and gym, but we did not use any.

Maison Barbes is superbly located near Gare du Nord, which is brilliant if you're travelling into Paris via the Eurostar or planning to explore northern France. Gare du Nord is also a great interchange for many Paris metro lines. The rooms are clean and decently sized by Paris standards, and the furniture is well optimised with a large and comfortable bed (even for the standard room we stayed in). The toilet is a bit cramped, though the shower space is surprisingly generous (perhaps more space could have been allocated to the sink instead of the shower). The toiletries provided are excellent. The decor throughout the hotel is lovely and definitely boutique. We will definitely consider staying here again.

We were greeted with delicious croissants and coffee! The aesthetic is so luxurious and the rooms have so much character. There’s a balcony and full body mirror. The tv has Netflix too :) Loved my stay!

Very comfortable beds. A very stylish hotel, when you are inside, you feel a world away from the slightly less stylish Barbes-Rochechouart area just outside. Great shower head and bathroom facilities. Easy access to the metro and Gare du Nord if catching the Eurostar. Will definitely stay here again.
