Excellent location right in the heart of the city. Extremely convenient if you have a car- we did. A parking structure near by- worry free parking in an old city. And hotel validated giving us 20 percent off on parking fees. Clean, good size rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The location was perfect. The rooms were very clean and we appreciated the complimentary bottles of water in the refrigerators. The magnifying mirror and the light in the bathroom was very good. We also liked the reading lamps beside the beds and the big TV screens. Stephanie and Salem were thoughtful to allocate to us two quiet side by side bedrooms on the fifth floor. They were nice to us and our children. We liked the fresh orange juice machine at breakfast.

Location is very good near the Palais du Pape , near good restaurant and museum of Avignon , shop are very closed . The room I had ,was spacious and clean and Bathroom. Because I was in the Center of Avignon we can hear people on the streets and music but stop later in the night. Breakfast was good , fruit ,yogurt,croissants and more if you want it.

In the heart of Avignon, on the main square "Place de l'Horloge", 150 feet away from the Popes Palace and 1,650 feet from the Pont d'Avignon, Mercure Avignon Center Palais des Papes features free Wi-Fi and air-conditioned rooms with a safe.

  • With parking, where is this located and how far away as it is pedestrian area only around your hotel? Are we supposed to park first and then check in or do we have to leave the car somewhere, check in and then go collect vehicle and then park where you advise?

L’Hôtel travaille en collaboration avec le parking du Palais des Papes dont l’accès se fait par la Porte du Rocher, très proche du célèbre Pont d'Avignon. Nous vous invitons à vous garer au niveau P1 ou P0 est ainsi sortir face au Palais des Papes, qui se trouve à 40 m depuis l'hôtel. Une réduction de 20% sur le tarif est proposée par la Réception sur simple présentation du ticket de stationnement.     Good afternoon ! At the Mercure Palais des Papes, we don't have restaurant, only the breakfast room for the morning ! But at the other hotel Mercure, at Mercure Pont d'Avignon, they have the restaurant named Racines ! Kind regards !

    Hello ! The supplement for the dog is 10€ per night, for the car park we work with the public car park named Parking Palais des Papes, we give you 20% discount validating the ticket at the hotel ! It's about 17€ for 24 hours ! Kind regards, Yoann
