United KingdomThe location of the hotel is perfect as it's right at the edge of the walled old town so very easy walking to everywhere. The staff was very helpful as we had to rearrange our plans due to the National train strike. Our room was an apartment with king bed, nice size bathroom, extra half bath, kitchen and living area. Love that you could open the windows as we got a great breeze at night.

Located just 500 feet from the medieval center of Sarlat and housed in a beautiful building, the Hotel Montaigne offers comfortable and well-equipped rooms.
Rooms at the Hotel Montaigne are nicely decorated and include modern amenities such as free WiFi access. The apartment features a kitchenette with a microwave-grill, stove top, fridge, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, welcome tray, tea towel and kitchenware.
The Montaigne situation makes it easy for exploring the medieval architecture of Sarlat, and the beautiful countryside of the Dordogne and the Périgord Noir.
Paid parking is available on site (free from 1st November to 28th February) and free parking could be found 650 feet away.

The hotel is situated just next to a public paying parking (free from 1st november to 28th february). Yes, breakfast is 11 € for adults.
