A lovely traditional character Gite in the quaint and very popular town of Jugon Les Lac in Brittany, France. The house is located on the river and is situated in the town centre close to all amenities. FREE WIFI PROVIDED The Main bedroom has a double bed, bed settee (1 person) & travel cot. The 2nd smaller bedroom has a two single beds. All bedding is provided FREE of charge. Please bring your own towels. The kitchen is fully equipped with Microwave, fridge freezer, electric oven/hob, Kettle, coffee machine & toaster etc The lounge has 2 settee's and a TV for the viewing of DVDs & Videos only, there is no live TV, but TV is USB compatible. DVDs/Videos, books & games are available at the house for your enjoyment. There is a shower in the bathroom. There is only street parking at the house which is free. There is no garden or outdoor space with the house but Jugon Les Lac has many beautiful outdoor spaces for you to enjoy. Please be warned that the windows downstairs open out onto the river, therefore the house is not recommended for toddlers. The house is full of character and is over 150 years old so Please do not expect a perfect modern house. HOLIDAY USE ONLY
The small town of Jugon Les Lac has many amenities such as: bakers, butchers, banks, tourist info, supermarket, newsagents, post office, bars, restaurants, charity shop & fishing shop. The beautiful lake of Jugon Les Lac is a short walk from the house, where you can take part in water activities, sailing & Caneoing. Also an all sports pitch, boules, tennis, cycling, crazy golf, kids play area, walks, picnic's and indoor and outdoor swimming pool with great flumes. There are lots of local festivals in the area throughout the summer and every year Jugon has an amazing festival in the town square with music and entertainment. Dolo which is only 3 miles away has a new wake board and water ski centre. There are plenty of places close by to visit such as the medieval city of Dinan which also has bowling, cinema and a horse race course. You can also visit St Brieuc, Lamballe, St Cast De Guildo & Moncontour etc. Local markets are on most days in the area. The nearest sandy beaches are 30 mins drive away on the beautiful north Brittany coast. St Malo is 50 mins drive away and Mont St Michel is approx 1 hour away.
