This spacious, beautifully designed villa with an outdoor swimming pool is located in the quartier Ste. Anne, just outside the historic medieval village of Entrecasteaux. It is on a private hillside with sweeping views of the surrounding countryside, in the heart of the Var region of Provence. The area offers many unspoiled villages, historic sites and other attractions. Nearby are the Gorges du Verdon, the chateau of Entrecasteaux and the Abbey de Thoronet. The villa has an open design with an upscale kitchen, three bedrooms en suite, a large living/dining room with fireplace and it is beautifully finished throughout. The house is fully furnished with all the modern conveniences (electric heating, electric stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and a large American refrigerator with ice maker). Click here for additional pictures of the interior of the villa. The villa is on a two acre lot of flowering shrubs, cypress, pine, olive and fig trees. It is maintained to preserve the unspoiled natural beauty of its rugged environment. One can refresh and relax by the outdoor swimming pool while taking in the splendid view of the Provençal countryside and distant hills.

The Villa is within an hour's drive of Aix-en-Provence, Nice and the Côte d'Azur. While there you can walk in the steps of Cezanne at Aix, view old Nice as it was seen by Matisse, and other well known impressionists. The French Riviera beaches offer warmth and beauty while the city of St. Tropez and the casino of Monte Carlo provide a touch of exciting glamour and fashion. Not to be missed is Cannes with its famous film festival, or the perfume factories of Grasse. Provence's lavender fields, in full bloom in the month of July, are also within an hour's drive to the northwest. Longer trips can take you to historic Avignon featuring the incredible Papal Palace and the famous Saint Bénezet Bridge. Continue to Arles, the soul of Provence, and see the vistas of Van Gough where he painted his most celebrated works.
