Cottage was clean and comfortable, and very well equipped. Location is great for exploring the beautiful north Cornwall coast. The Bettle and Chisel pub is within walking distance and serves lovely food and beer.

The location was excellent to reach tourist spots, butalso super quiet so you could relax and get some good sleep. Felt very safe in the area and the host told us lots about the closer areas and where/what to try. The host Lee is an honest upfront guy who makes your stay feel more than just a quick get away break. Would certainly recommend to family and friends alike.

It lived up to its name. The wood burner made it snug. The sofas were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. There are walks in the doorstep and it’s location made it easy to drive to Tintagel and Port Issac

  • would we be able to bring our house siamese cat? She is a house cat, non destructive, fully house trained, we are used to taking her on holiday.

    We do have a small garden. It is behind the cottage down a short path. Perfect for a small dog to stretch their legs! The cottage is also on the doorstep of Delabole Slate Quarry, great for walking dogs around.

  • Hi Can you please tell me more about the parking here. How close Is it and is there a place to stop while unpacking our things from the car into the cottage. We have 1 small dog . Is there a back yard of some sort? Thank you
    There is a large, free car park, used by locals, just meters down the road from the cottage. The front door leads onto a narrow road, so room for stopping just to unload but shouldn't be parked on. We down have a small garden.

Welcome to our quaint cosy cottage situated in the historic village of Delabole, home to the oldest and largest working slate quarry in England. Whether you want a relaxing get away or an action packed holiday, Cosy cottage provides the perfect base for whatever your style of vacation. Lee the owner is passionate about Cornwall and his properties. The cottage is thoughtfully decorated, comfy, snug and even has a log burner to keep you warm on those chilly evenings.
Cosy cottage has one double bedroom, a twin room with two single beds and a bathroom with a shower. Please note that Cosy has the typical cottage characteristics and has low ceilings in places. Cornwall is the perfect location for all year round holidays. Cosy cottage is in close proximity to the rugged Cornish coast and beaches.
The harbour villages of Boscastle and Port Isaac are no more than 15 minutes drive away. The mythical Tintagel, home of King Arthur is 10 mins. Polzeath beach, perfect for surfing, is 15 minutes. Bodmin Moor is a 10 minute drive. There are several walking locations nearby, including the Camel Trail and the Saints way. And just on the doorstep is the quarry which can be walked all the way around, with Delabole being high above sea level, the views around the quarry are breathtaking.
