Our second visit in six weeks. Such a great place to stay so I returned to spend my birthday there

United KingdomIt was a lovely cottage in a lovely location, I only wish the weather had been better so we could have explored a bit. The cottage is compact, but there was plenty of room for the four of us and it was very comfortable. The host was very helpful. It was a very pleasant stay.

United KingdomWe had a great stay here. The property is well fitted and was spotlessly clean. It’s within easy walking distance of three pubs, a cafe and one of the Ironbridge Gorge museums. Jenny was a great host, good communications and the nice touches on arrival were appreciated!

United KingdomThe cottage is brilliant and Jenny is a lovely host. It's clean, has all that you need for a short stay in terms of kitchen equipment and facilities. The cottage is also perfectly located with a number of pub/restaurants nearby that can be walked to. There's lovely paths all around for exploring and walking to the Ironbridge wouldn't be too much of a stretch. We walked to Blist Hill and its around 20 minutes (slightly longer with young children!) to give a context of distance. The Wood burner was great and the beds are very comfortable. Jenny had very considerately provided items for making hot drinks and a little refreshment welcome pack which was very welcoming indeed! Also there is a parking space which is convenient. Genuinely very sad to come home!

The cottage is situated in a world heritage site, Coalport china museum is directly over the road, Blists hill victorian villiage and the world famous Ironbridge are both within walking distance. The bike hub which is also just over the road and were they hire tandam bikes and make bespoke bicycles to order. There are a few good places to eat without taking a car including The brewery inn which serve a great breakfast, the cafe at the youth hostel nice coffee and cake The Shakespeare inn for excellent evening meal, a little further on foot and you will find the Half Moon Pub also good meals to be had or lovely to just sit by the river with a nice drink
