A peaceful retreat in central Brockenhurst, near to local amenities. A perfect base for your trip to the New Forest! Village location, eateries and pubs, railway station and open forest where wild ponies, deer and cows roam at will. Perfect for walkers and cyclists - plenty to do and appreciate outdoors. I do not live at the house. Guests are sent a code for the front door to let them selves in and each room has a door key. The house is warm and well furnished the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

I ran 4 Lyndhurst Rd as a Bed & Breakfast for 10 years, now just letting rooms seems to be what people want. The house lends itself to this with all bar the single room having en-suite facilities. I am always available by phone if not on site.

There is good walking and cycling from Brockenhurst to all of the New Forest and there are plenty of visitor attractions. Many of the cafes and restaurants have adapted to offer outside facilities Opposite the house is The Retreat, a café who do an excellent Breakfast. The Snakecatcher - like many others uses locally sourced produce. Italian Albero offer great pizza and Enzee Ristorante & Pizzeria at the station has a huge menu. The Foresters Arms has two sides to it. The near side is the lounge bar which is a nice quiet place to enjoy the good food from the menu or specials board. In the winter they also have an open fire in this bar keeping the area nice and cosy. The railway offers easy access from London and the North and on wards to Weymouth, Lymington and the Isle of Wight by Ferry.
