the room was clean, the beds comfortable and the staff helpful but the room was so hot it ruined our 3 day stay and we left a day early and were very disappointed as we were looking forward to this holiday very much. We could not obtain any compensation at all. The wifi was also very poor indeed and the staff explained this was normal.

Interesting history, quaint village, great food at The Grasshopper on the Green. Very friendly. Hever Castle near by, Churchill House, Sevenoakes and not far from coastal points such as the historic Hastings.

Stayed at Westerham as it's close to National Trust property Chartwell and convenient for the M25. There are interesting shops and quite a few eateries but some closed on Monday or for refurbishment. Check before going. Can recommend Tulsi Indian restaurant.

The state of the Days Inn grounds did not bode favourable for the first impression of Westerham. The Council need to have words with them about the general upkeep and monitoring of the area outside the reception/parking areas of the facility. Westerham is a beautiful part of Kent I know the area well as I have grown up in the area. But if hotels\motels are not kept to certain standards this will have adverse effect on the whole area.

General impression was of a potentially lovely town spoilt by premise that were empty or in general need of improvement.
The town seemed in need of good hotels, restaurants and nice shops.
There is a nice Italian restaurant and shop.
There is plenty to enjoy in the vicinity, eg. Darwin's and Churchill's houses, and the Biggin Hill wartime museum and aerial activity.

The village has a beautiful statue of General Wolfe who was born here. At the bottom of the town is his home Quebec House, which is owned by the National Trust. The village has several restaurants and independent shops. Not far away is the lovely Hever Castle and Chartwell, the home of Winston Churchill.
The property was spacious, beautifully appointed, had luxurious bedding and throws, very comfy beds, and had generously sized bedrooms all with en suite.
The kitchen had huge amounts of storage and was well kitted out in terms of crockery and utensils
Situated right in the heart of Westerham, very handy for local shops, coffee places and restaurants. Although the kitchen for the restaurant below could be noisy at times!
Right next door to JetEx where I parked our jet
Bus stop is less than 200 yards from the hotel
Restaurant upstairs was very good. Noticed that the locals ate there regularly. Rooms were immaculate, the hotel is very well insulated. Did not hear the airport runway traffic at all.
Staff is very polite, friendly and attentive.
Mattress and pillows were very comfortable. I stayed 5 days and will stay there again in October.
Andrew and his staff were friendly and attentive. When there was a problem with WiFi in the room he made arrangements for me to take some important business meetings in another part of the premises. The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere in the bar and restaurant areas in the evenings was friendly. I was made to feel like a local.
In England for a family reunion and our location in Westerham was ideal as the majority of my family were staying in Sevenoaks, a 20 minute car ride away. Willow Cottage was very cozy, convenient and comfortable for myself, my partner and my daughter.
Highly recommended......thanks again Laura

The staff are super helpful and friendly. The rooms are so clean and comfortable. Shower pressure is fantastic. The Restaurant that's situated in hotel is very helpful. All the food served at the hotel is fantastic and very tasty. Hotel is located in a nice area where you could walk around.
Amazing staff! Nothing was too much, they were incredibly attentive and flexible with our large group of family and friends. Hannah in particular was one of the nicest and most helpful member of staff I’ve ever come across in a hotel. Very comfy beds, okay food, nice bar.
I liked the staff, they were friendly, welcoming and ensured my stay was good. The service provided was at a good standard and it enabled us to feel we could stay around the hotel of an evening and be comfortable in our surroundings. The food was also of a good standard.
The location of Westerham was perfect for our requirements, which included visiting old haunts, and local places of interest (Titsey Place, Emmets Gardens). The hotel has a delightfully quirky feel.
An absolute gem! If only there were more hotels like this one. Genuinely putting the guest first to ensure a first class stay. Loved the bottle of gin in the bedroom! Great breakfast.
This character hotel is my favourite place to stay when visiting Kent. Large, comfortable rooms in a historically interesting building. Breakfast is excellent and staff very helpful.
We did not bother to have breakfast as the hygiene in the hotel was very poor. Although we had paid for breakfast, we did not trust the food prepared in such an unkempt environment.
The room itself was nice on initial view. large room with a comfortable bed at the front of the hotel. Breakfast was lovely and staff all very nice and welcoming.
