The welcome and explanation of facilities was excellent and advice on travel. There was a refrigerator that we did use for milk with breakfast cereal and a microwave that we did not use.

The room was clean, spacious and well laid out. Kate who was watching the place for the landlords is an absolute gem, couldn't do enough. Very convenient for Edinburgh as the bus stop is almost outside. Also a convenience shop , fish and chips shop, and a Chinese restaurant 10 min walk away.
