“This was the sort of property I could retire to! Everything I need in one perfectly compact including one or two things I didn’t expect. The washing machine was definitely a godsend. Spacious bedroom & comfy bed meant an amazing night’s sleep every night. The property is perfectly positioned with a lovely view towards the sunrise across open land down to a cute little Loch. It’s also incredibly handy for buses into Lerwick and other destinations to the North.. Returning one evening from exploring the bus driver was even kind enough to drop me outside the door..”

“Everything was extra clean. You have a full equipment for every occasion, kitchen is fully equipped if you cook. The location is more less of central position so it's relatively close to everywhere on the island (highly recommend to see Eshaness and the Lighthouse). “Abateg is an excellent self catering apartment and the views are amazing. The location provides a perfect base for exploring all areas of Shetland, North South East West and other islands. The host is friendly and the apartment has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Sadly we only had 2 nights instead of 3 due to stormy weather and a ferry cancellation but next time we will stay for longer. Thank you. ”
