Still waiting for a refund. Complained to booking.dotcom and sent pictures to prove how disgusting the room was. Cannot get an answer from the hotel group with my complaint. Had to rebook 4 days with another hotel as it was so bad

The mobile home was warm, clean and well equipped, situated on an immaculate site that boasts all amenities. But the real joy for us is a stunning coastline as we enjoy walking, rain not withstanding.

Location good for our needs.
Property spotless
Sue very friendly, nothing too much trouble.
Close to Navy Museum, nice quiet area
Overall pleasantly surprised. Has many of the same problems that you find in the North, ie, abandoned buildings, closed down shops, but thats mostly in the old centre. Everybody now goes to the supermarkets and shopping parks, and these were clean and thriving.
I was not on holiday so didnt do sightseeing, but the beach at Seaton Carew was very nice.
People friendly with a good sense of humour.
Council has gone a bit mad with parking restrictions and double yellow lines everywhere, so be careful if driving.

I have known this area since childhood so have a connection as well as a fondness for Hartlepool and Seaton Carew. The Marine Hotel experience was a particular disappointment. Having now read other people's more positive experiences of the hotel I think the problem my wife and I suffered was that the hotel staff were distracted by the arrangements they were involved in for a wedding taking place during our stay. Perhaps that's why we were not provided with adequate information about their parking arrangements. Other reviewer comments seem to indicate that their rooms were better with views etc. or on the ground floor of this hotel.

Seaton Carew is an outlying village of Hartlepool. with Hartlepool itself the main town. It has an excellent maritime museum, well worth a visit and some interesting streets to wander around and observe. Be aware though that Hartlepool is divided into two distinct areas with many of the attractions are in West Hartlepool (I think it is) including further museums, the main beach and a statue of Andy Capp.
For a relaxing meal I chose to eat at the Premier Inn Marina hotel with a good view of the marina and the the museum ship

A stroll along the front at Seaton Crewe is highly recommended. Fantastic views across the bay. Having a railway station close by was very handy. Breakfast at Gelato JoJo was good value and went back for their ice-cream sundae.

We came to visit the Tall Ships 2023 event on the marina & harbour areas, which was excellent. We also enjoyed a five minute train ride to Seaton Carew, and had breakfast at Gladys' Vintage Tea Room, which was lovely, then walked back to Hartlepool along the promenade. We also visited the Art Gallery and The Anchor, which is the Tap for the Cameron's Brewery, quite a sight in itself, but unfortunately, they are not yet back to doing tours. There are plenty of great bars and eating places on the Hartlepool town side, however, on the last day, we walked to the Headland to see the Tall Ships leave and found out what a super place Old Hartlepool is! We shall more than likely return to explore the are further.
Nice big pet friendly room, I stayed in room 1 for one night as was visiting friends.Very friendly welcome by Geoff and family, and Teddy the resident poodle said hello to my dog. I am always made to feel welcome here. I arranged for a cooked breakfast the next morning which is £7.50 extra. Set me up for the day. Then walked the coast path to North Gare before I left Seaton to
continue my journey to Northumberland. Mayfair Lodge is my first choice of where to stay in this area.
The house is very nice inside and the room we stayed in is one of the best we have stayed in period. nice thick comfortable carpets, lovely beds, good condiments (hot chocolate good coffee), sky box in every room and free breakfast for the price of this booking you really need to stay here and appreciation the efforts she has taken!
SUE you were AWSOME and served best service me and my mate have ever came across we will be back!
Lovely bedroom, bathroom and shower was to die for. There are two bedrooms - I was lone customer but was given sole occupancy so it was nice and private.
Location was fine for me, close to the lovely marina with a frequent bus service 10 mins walk away providing easy access to the Headland. There is also a large supermarket and a pub and food outlets for meals within 5-10 mins walk.

Staff friendly at reception. Straightforward. Rooms, a decent size and comfortable enough but no frills. Had to ask for a couple more tea bags.
Nice to walk on the prom and easy enough to walk into Hartlepool centre or marina
Convenient parking.
Breakfast was exceptional with every need met. Perfect location close to beautiful beach and all amenities. Good transport links with railway station only a 10 minutes walk away and a bus stop nearby to Hartlepool and Middlesborough.
Location was spot on for all food places and my business trip, would highly recommend, staff extremely helpful.
Rooms all tidy with all amenities needed in hotel room.
Will be staying here for all other business trips in the area
Lee and the other staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, always going above and beyond to make you feel at home. Piping hot cooked breakfast and great coffee. I would definitely stay here again when in the area.
The room and the hotel were very clean.
The location was very good in reference to the main shops and the train station
The management and the staff were nice people ready to assist in any way.
Staff were pleasant and did the best they could.
The Hotel is nicely placed near to the Castle.
Car park is at Park Safe and discounted (safe and secure monitored parking.
Friendly staff, a good price, and a fairly convenient location. The train station and Hartlepool United (who I'd come to watch) were about a 10 minute walk away.
