Rooms were large, clean. Whole building was clean and comfortable. We did not do the breakfast as my wife is vegan and options were limited but no worries. 15-20 minute walk into the city center and all the restaurants, shops and cathedral. Great place.

In 2 acres of landscaped gardens, Abbots Barton Hotel has a traditional restaurant and elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi. The hotel is just outside Canterbury center, half a mile from Canterbury Cathedral. The bright, spacious bedrooms are individually decorated, and each has a flat-screen TV. All rooms feature a modern bathroom with free toiletries. The Best Western Abbots Barton Hotel is just a 5-minute walk from St Lawrence Cricket Ground. There is free on-site parking, and Dover Ferry Terminal is just a 20-minute drive away. While we currently complete some refurbishment across the hotel, the restaurant and bar will be closed during the refurbishments, but we have arranged a light room service menu. Enjoy one of our delicious hand crafted artisan pizzas. A perfect treat during your night away.
