We really felt welcomed as personal guests into a home that had been thoroughly cleaned and with any possible need of ours anticipated before our arrival. A place to start the day with delicious, varied and sustaining (!) breakfasts, served with a smile and a log fire. A place to relax, enjoying the beautiful surrounding countryside and to return to restful comfort, real milk in the fridge and even wineglasses and a corkscrew on the provisions tray. Had I forgotten to pack my books, there was plenty of reading matter available, a good tv and dvds available too, as well as board games.

Abbotshaw House Farm B&B was exceptionally clean & set in a beautiful location. The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had and the host (Pam) was so friendly. Wonderful stay! I will be returning soon.

It was a property with character, grand spacious rooms, with a luxurious atmosphere. The owners could not have been more helpful. A special effort was made at breakfast to set you up for the day, with whatever you wanted to eat.

The Reivers Suite was amazing - total luxury, massive bed, every little thing had been thought of, plus the biggest bath I've ever had!! Pam & Tom were the nicest hosts ever, so accommodating & helpful, really took an interest in us. The breakfasts were just amazing, lovely choice & absolutely top quality food, set us up for 2 x days of cycling days perfectly.
