From the minute we met lliwen we were made to feel at home … It really was home from home our room with en-suite was spotless clean and had everything we needed and more nothing was to much trouble from lliwen .. breakfast was scrumptious plenty of choice from toast to fruit ham cheese cereals endless amount … We wish we could of stayed longer abs definitely will book again next time we come to Oxford … Anyone who is thinking of booking at abodes you will not be disappointed Excellent host excellent house … What more can we say We will be back lliwen 🙂

Very good continental breakfast with fruit, cereals, ham, cheese, toast and lots more. 5 minutes walk to the bus stop and 10 minutes to the centre of Oxford. Very good value for money.

  • Hello, the page mentions you have an electric car charging point. What type of charger is it? I have a Type 2 connector and standard 3 pin plug. 🙂

    The charger currently is for a 3 pin 7 kw charger. I am awaiting a faster charger to be installed. Regards Lliwen

Oxford is very popular and as such guest houses and hotels can charge very high rates, even for a basic 'budget' room. As such there are very few traditional B&Bs in the area. We are one of a group of private owners who are dedicated to offer the traditional B&B in Oxford. This gives you the guest an alternative that offers a comfortable, quality home from home place to stay at great value. The property is a private house offering 3 B&B with over 10 years of history and a great reputation to maintain. In addition to the double with modern en-suite the second room is a double with shared bathroom with bath and shower and an additional double double room available at request that shares the bathroom We thouroughly enjoy welcoming people to the Oxford area and try to make it as memorable an experince for you as possible.

Hello, I'm Lliwen your host, as the name suggests I am a pure Welsh lady from the Snowdonia region of Wales where B&B in private houses are the main source of accommodation in my beautiful country. I have been offereing bed and breakfast over 10 years ago and has never looked back. I also manage a traditional bed and breakfast agency that assists visitors searching for affordable B&B provided by our very welcoming hosts offering bed and breakfast within their own homes. This is her primary line of work but enjoys running her bed and breakfast alongside this.

Kennington is a small village only reaching around 1 mile in length and ideally loacted 2 miles south of Oxford city centre and 3 miles from Abingdon town also. Is a quiet succluded village that has a local pub and local shop conveniently a 2 miunte walk away from the property. The 35 bus service runs frequently every 15 minutes at the peak times during the week and every 35 minutes on sundays.
