“The directions were great in the email. Even though my navigation took me straight there but it’s great that the directions are there in advance the host was very welcoming from the very beginning and the area is so scenic. The animals there were great we were greeted by chickens and a cat. The room was great the atmosphere was great I’m a fan of wood furniture so I’m biased. The food was great in the morning and the was loads of options for your liking. The view while having breakfast is going to be very hard to beat. The whole time I was there there were absolutely no issues and I loved my stay can’t wait to come back !”

“Perfect peaceful setting yet easy access to Inverness and surrounding area. Delightful , huge room with stunning views of the countryside . Breakfast room also had fabulous views . Guest lounge to relax in after sightseeing. Knowledgeable friendly host who even took us to and from local inn . Fabulous find and perfect for a few mindful days away from the stresses of everyday life . Lots to see within an hour of the area and more beyond . Highly recommend and will definitely return . ”

“It's an absolutely perfect location for anybody who likes sounds of the nature around you, beautiful mountain views and peaceful location in the rural environment. Marsaili (hostess) was very friendly and accommodating (my plane was late and she kindly waited for me long after the normal check-in hours) - she is a great cook and you definitely will enjoy the breakfast if you decide to stay here. Room was very clean and bed / pillows were very comfortable, so, unlike in many hotels I didn't have any problems to sleep and relax during my stay.”

“This was one of our favorite places on our trip. It was a true bed and breakfast, inside a private home, but it had all the comforts and amenities of a 4 star hotel. The owner told us all about the area and history of the loch. There were chickens and geese and guinea fowl and goats and dogs. Loved them all! The breakfast was excellent. We would definitely go back and spend more time.”

“Marssili runs the B&B. She went above and beyond. She offered coffee or tea at when we got back each night. She made it feel like a home away from home. Each morning after breakfast she showed us maps of where were going and made recommendations, pointing it out on the map. This saved us a couple times because there is very poor phone reception, making gps’s pretty useless. Marssili and the amazing views are what makes this place so special.”

“Our hostess was a wonderful cook. She made fresh biscuits each morning and they were very tasty. She also had a lot of knowledge of the area and actually booked our reservation to the pub and gave us a lift to it. She was wonderful. I would highly recommend her and would definitely stay again.”
