The landlady was very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was more than ample, with cereal, juice, toast, as well as eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, and beans.

United KingdomAs soon as you step through the door you get the warmest of greetings. Amanda is so lovely and kind. She makes you feel so welcome. Everything is spotless. So much love, pride and hard work goes into everything she does. It’s visible to see. Amanda always has time to listen and talk to you. She helps you find your way round and tells you about all the places you can visit while on your stay. Which is great especially when your new to Newquay. Delicious breakfast every morning. Couldn’t ask for more. Can’t wait to come back again. Thank you so much!
United KingdomAmanda is an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble. The location of the property was excellent and only a very short walk in Newquay. The room was very clean with lots of facilities including a fridge, iron, hair dryer. Alderberry Lodge was spot on with Covid there was anti bac everywhere and tables in breakfast room spread out. The breakfast was beautiful. We had a car parking space as that’s something we always look for. Would thoroughly recommend a stay at Alderberry lodge. Would definitely stay here again.

United KingdomThe Alderberry Lodge is in an excellent location a couple of minutes from town centre, but far enough away for a peaceful stay. Value for money was exceptional, with the room really modern and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was perfect with lots of choices, which is really impressive for a small property! Amanda was a superb, friendly host and made the experience lovely for us. Hope to stay again in the future!

Alderberry Lodge is situated in the heart of Newquay only a short walk to the Town Centre, Local Beaches and Shops and Restaurants.
Amanda has worked in the hospitality industry for over 25 years, she is a real people person and has many hobbies including Walking, Family History and travelling when she is not busy with the guesthouse. Amanda is married with two grown up daughters and loves being a grandma.
Alderberry Lodge is in one of the best locations, if you go out to the left of the house you will walk into the town centre and beaches and busy town centre, and if you walk out of the house to the right you will walk into quietness of the Boating Lake and Trenance Gardens and also a short walk to the Zoo and Leisure Park.
