Lorraine and Gerry were very welcoming. The bedroom and bathroom very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and to perfection! Reasonable choice of restaurants in town for an evening meal and shops for provisions required for onward travel. Would definitely recommend.

Allandale House is an elegant 18th-century property, on the main high street of the historic town of Auchterarder. Traditional tea shops, antique traders and high quality clothes stores can be found a few hundred yards from the bed and breakfast.

Fully tiled private bathrooms with complimentary toiletries are featured in each Allandale room, along with free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and DVD player. A guest library of DVDs is also available.

A full Scottish breakfast buffet is offered in the cozy dining room and many restaurants offering homemade food are available in the local area.

The famous Gleneagles Golf Course is just a 10 minute drive from the bed and breakfast, and pre-booked tee times can be arranged for guests at the front desk. Tullibardine Distillery Visitor Center is only 4.8 miles away and tours are available 7 days a week.

    Hi Tim, We only have on street parking outside the front of the house for cars however we can accommodate motorcycles or cycles to the rear of the house which is off street, hope this is helpful. Kind regards Loraine.

  • I see that dogs are not allowed in the house but is it OK for them to sleep in the car outside?

Allandale House is a lovely Georgian property that we have lovingly renovated during our time here, with our guests comfort in mind at all times. We want you to feel totally at home here, whether its's an overnight stop or a longer stay, we are sure you won't be disappointed.

Gerry and I have been in the hospitality business for 40+ years, it is our passion. We have been very fortunate to have a profession that we both love and we hope this reflects on the level of comfort and service that we offer our guests. We are also passionate about skiing and golf, when we get the time!!

Auchterarder and the surrounding area have so much to offer our guests. From golf on the Famous Gleneagles resort or Auchterarder's own challenging scenic course. There are Historic Castles and Palaces nearby, whisky distilleries to explore and sample, beautiful countryside to walk or cycle in, lovely local shops and cafes to enjoy and all this just within an hours drive from Edinburgh or Glasgow.
