Staff excellent, very helpful, very welcoming. room was comfortable and spacious

I booked the Excel as we were going to the O2 on the Saturday evening. The location was perfect, close to the DLR for access. Staff were very friendly, rooms lovely, large bed and spotlessly clean. Parking was not a bad price for London. We arrived 1/2 hour early, but this was not a problem and we were checked in without any fuss straight away. Breakfast was brilliant with lots of choice. Will definitely book again.

Lovely hotel in a good location for London. The room was quiet, and the planes flying past the window could not be heard. The shower was good, and generally, it was a pleasant stay

The rooms were of a very high quality and very spacious.

Just next to Excel Conference Centre. No coat needed, door next to the hotel. Great breakfast and Swimming pool.

Gorgeous hotel, lovely room.pool was so relaxing and thr sauna and steam room. Love the 'snack room' in the lobby too. Wish we could have stayed longer. Comfy beds, lovely.location being in the docks away from busy central. Had a great time.

Location excellent for Excel and so perfect for us. Travelled with my adult son who also found room, staff and breakfast really good. Price was huge but typical for London. Would definitely stay again.

Featuring a 42-inch flat-screen TV and a signature bed, each spacious room at Aloft London ExCel also enjoys modern styling. Rooms all have a bathroom with a large shower, whilst the Suites have a separate living area. Dogs can be accommodated, and the property can provide dog beds.
Both Canary Wharf and the O2 Arena are 10 minutes away via the DLR and Tube, with Prince Regent DLR Station 100 yards from Aloft. London City Airport is less than a mile away.
Docksider Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and 'grab & go' food is available is time is limited. Sweet and savoury snacks are available at re:fuel by Aloft, and the vibrant w xyz bar offers a range of signature cocktails. Guests can check-in using the touch & go self-service system.
Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 8.3 for a two-person trip.

Credit/Debit Card Policy:
Debit and Credit cards will be authorised at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorisation will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorised amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Payment Policy:
Third Party Credit Card: Third party credit card forms are not accepted. Bank transfers and CHAPS payments are accepted. Please note that the hotel does not accept third party bookings paid by credit card: contact the hotel directly for information regarding bank transfers.
Cheque: Banker cheques are not accepted. Traveller’s cheques are not accepted for payment or exchange. Guest must show valid passport for the transaction.
Direct Bill: Direct billing is only available after approval of the credit manager. The company to be invoiced must fax an invoice request to the hotel and include the specific charges to be invoiced.
Dogs weighing less than 40 pounds (18.14 kilograms) are allowed in guest rooms at no extra charge. Guide dogs are not subject to weight limits. A pet liability waiver must be signed upon arrival.
