    There are public buses which travel around the Lake District. You can also book a bus tour with Mountain Goat tours.

  • Arriving by train from London so how do I do that?

    Travel by train to Oxenholme station and then another train to Windermere station. From Windermere you can take a bus direct to Ambleside centre, or a taxi. The journey is around 10- 15 minutes from the train station to Ambleside.
