Claire and Berkeley White have been in the guest accommodation business in Ballycastle since 1999. They acquired An Caislean Guest House (Previously known as Glenluce) in the mid 2000s having previously built up a nearby B&B from scratch.

An Caisleán Guest House offers boutique hotel-style accommodation for the discerning traveller in Ballycastle, the most picturesque town on the Giants Causeway Coast & Glens of Antrim route. The property has been a guest house for many years and has been extended on at least two occasions.

Neighborhood info

Ballycastle has developed as a market town by the sea rather than a seaside town. It has a fascinating history having been laid out in its current plan in the 18th century by the entrepreneur and much respected landlord, Hugh Boyd who created an industrial and mining port. It is the main market town for the north-east of county Antrim and for the island of Rathlin and boasts no Tescos, no Sainsburys, no Morrisons, no Lidl, no Aidl and no Safeway, to name but a few.
