United KingdomIt was lovely to stay in more local accommodation, and the Anand Lodge was in a quiet area, and easily accessible to the motor ways. And there was a choice of several restaurants nearby including 2 chinese takeaways! The lodge was comfortable and I felt well looked after. Lovely view out of my window. The room was attractively furnished.

United KingdomEverything about our stay at Anand Lodge was perfect. Tranquil setting, lovely grounds, very clean, we had literally a very warm atmosphere (the room was fitted with two radiators, which you don't get very often these days) Be considerate though and turn them off when is too hot. Our room was on the 3rd floor, we did not hear a single noise, apart from the chirping of the birds in the morning ( fantastic moment). The staff was very polite and prompt, wifi worked perfectly well, you don't need a key, every room has a code, which is a very good idea, as I'm always misplacing keys, just read carefully the instructions. By the look of how the other guests interacted with us, they seemed to know the place by heart, and offered us advice on where to eat, where are the recycling points, etc, I got the impression that the lodge gets a lot of returning customers. Highly recommended 👌🏼

Old and beautiful buildings with original features that makes this property the traditional English guest house.
We have got more than 15 years of experience in running guest houses & hotels. We are a family business that continue to upgrade and modernise our establishment.
